The 2012 Environmental Performance Index (EPI) and Trend Environmental Performance Index (Trend EPI) Summary for Policymakers was released by Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy, Yale University and Center for International Earth Science Information Network, Columbia University in collaboration with World Economic Forum and Joint Research Centre of the European Commission.
132 countries are ranked based on 22 performance indicators using these 10 EPI policy categories that were formulated to support 2 key objectives – Environmental Health and Ecosystem Vitality.
